OUR TEACHERS

Judi Ratcliffe

 

Judi holds an M.S. in Education with an emphasis on Curriculum Development from Johns Hopkins University. She also holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Towson University.  Judi has thirty (30) years of classroom teaching experience, nine of which were spent teaching pre-k, 1st and 2nd grade in the Baltimore County Public Schools. Judi opened Growing Minds Preschool in 2002. Judi loves the challenge of running her own school, developing original programs, and the interaction a small classroom setting provides with students and parents.  Judi and her husband Paul are the parents of three children ages 25, 24, and 19.

Mary Hepp

Mary Hepp has worked at Growing Minds preschool for the past 16 years.  She is the assistant teacher for the 4's class.  Mary has 2 children of her own: Michael - 28 years old and Nicholas - 25 years old.  Mary has volunteered in cub scouts and at the local elementary school.  She has a bachelor's degree in Biology and a master's degree in Physical Therapy from ODU, class of 1990.

Melissa has worked for Growing Minds preschool for 13 years. She is the assistant teacher assigned to the 3 year old class. She has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Occupational Health from California State University, Northridge.  Melissa has 2 children of her own and has volunteered on the board for the Hillside Elementary PTO, Broadlands ODSL swim team and Briar Woods High School Athletic Boosters.
